The Application Process
When you apply to become a My Eyelab franchisee, you will learn all there is to know about our innovative business model- from the resilient eye care industry to our telehealth technology. You will even get a firsthand look at what it takes to own one of our franchise locations by speaking with current franchisees.
Of course, it’s important to get to know the team that will be guiding you along the way. You’ll also have the opportunity to interview with My Eyelab executives and ask any questions you may have.
The next steps are up to us: financial verification, a background check, confirming your selected territory, and crafting a final proposal. In total, the application process takes 30-60 days.
Financing and Building a Location
Once your application has been approved, you will need to obtain the financing you need to open your store. Throughout the years, we have built relationships with plenty of financing vendors we can connect you with. We will then help you select a location for your store, close on your loan and begin building out your My Eyelab franchise.
Most of our locations are relatively new strip malls or standalone buildings, making the buildout process quick compared to other franchises. The timeline for the buildout phase depends heavily on real estate availability. However, even if you decide to go with new construction, it typically only takes 2-3 months.
Learning the Ins and Outs of Our Eye Care Franchise
The next step to opening your My Eyelab location’s doors is training, in which you will spend two weeks at a certified training store with the franchisee and their key staff members. You will get a firsthand look at everything it takes to run your store, and ongoing training is provided as needed. In addition, franchisees have direct access to members of Franchise Operations for business support.
Because of our comprehensive training program, you do not need experience in the healthcare industry to open a My Eyelab franchise. We’ll teach you everything you need to know about the eye care industry and our flexible business model.
